Ron dragged Deanna into the basement while Megan chatted briefly with Ted’s parents. Even after the breakup, they remained cordial to her. Her own parents came to mind (something they wanted her to do….) for a minute, but were quickly dismissed when Ron asked her to come down.
In Ted’s basement, it was just the three of them. And, even though she was on the offensive and Ron had her back, Megan felt scared. Deanna was a Grade A nutjob, and there was no telling what she might do. This whole thing was beginning to seem like a bad idea.
