She finally sprung into action. There was a roll of electrical tape on a hook on the wall and she quickly went to retrieve it.
“Sorry,” she said, handing the tape to Ron, who now had an ugly scratch on his face. “I…”
“It’s OK,” he told her, using the tape to bind Deanna’s arms behind her. Though still fearful, Megan decided to make herself useful and helped wrapped the girl’s rapidly flailing feet. Soon, she was safely subdued. Instead of calming down, however, she only threw even more of a fit, cursing up a storm and flopping wildly about.
