Chris arrived shortly thereafter. He was on the short side with blonde hair that had been streaked blue. His manner was timid or shy, perhaps by natural disposition or perhaps by the scare Nancy had previously thrown into him. Drew gave him an expression that let him know he would be watched. Carrie greeted him nervously, hoping to erase the bad taste left by their prior encounter. Together, they entered her room….and shut the door behind them.
Megan acted as a messenger for the duration. Her parents had wanted her to stand outside the door and eavesdrop, but she refused to but it. She did, however, agree to tell them if she thought something wasn’t on the level. Stephen asked what was going on and was incensed by Megan’s reply that he wasn’t old enough to understand.
