The car ride over was long for Kelly. She dreaded going to high school.Kelly had always been a very friendly girl. However, she was teased alot because she was so nice. Because she moved alot when her father and mother were still together, she never had a chance to make any real friends. Thus, she didn’t really have any true friends at school. She had Samantha, but she was at daycare now and Kelly was all alone. As soon as she walked in the door, she got a comment on her “little girl dress” from a bunch of smartly-dressed juniors. Another in her grade laughed and wondered when they started letting kindergarteners into high school. Some even asked if she needed a diaper change, not knowing that they were close to the truth.
