Pauline teased me this morning at breakfast by saying she’d put me in diapers if I messed my pants. I’m scared she really means it. She has a half joking manner that sometimes I can’t fathom. One minute she’s all smiles and then the next she shoots me a quick glance that freezes my bones. The next time she looks at me she’s all smiles again with a decided coo in her voice. It’s a good thing she had a crib for me to sleep in, otherwise I would have had to sleep in her bed with her. I don’t think that would be a good idea at the present stage of our relationship.
