She decided to give Ron a call. At the very least, she wanted to hear his explanation. The phone rang twice before he picked up.
“Hey,” he answered optimistically.
“Look who finally decided to call,” she said, letting her bitterness show.
“I’m sorry,” he said.
“Guys like you always are.”
“Let me explain, OK?”
Megan sighed. “Fine.”
“When I meet girls, its usually one of two ways. I’ll either be at a party or something and just randomly hook up with them and that’ll be it. Or, I’ll get to know them, and like them, and we’ll build something from that.”
