“Hey Ron,” she said. “One more thing.”
“Yeah?”
“You said you felt like you knew me,” she told him. “I feel like I know you too. You’re a macho guy trying to come to terms with sensitivity. Don’t be afraid.”
Ron burst into laughter. “That’s a good one,” he said before hanging up.
Megan was perplexed. She still didn’t know what to make of him. Did he really want her or was he just playing an angle to get her into bed? She didn’t know and she couldn’t be sure, but she wasn’t about to let her doubt push her into celibacy for the remainder of the summer.
