He looked up groggily as she lowered his half awake body into the tub of warm water and rinsed the urine from his crotch, then left him while she went to strip the bed. He was fully awake by the time she returned and took him out of the tub to get him dried off. Then she picked him up and carried him to the bedroom to get him dressed. Howard was surprised to see that the bed had no sheets and asked her why she was changing them so early in the morning. She usually waited until later in the day to make up the bed. Anita gave him a sour look and said, “Because you wet the bed in your sleep, that’s why! There are going to be some changes tonight in our sleeping arrangements, Howard! I have no intention of waking up in wet sheets again!”
