For half a second I thought about leaving it off, but then I was worried that one of Jacquelyn brothers or her parents might come in and realize that I was wearing a diaper. It never even occurred to me that the diaper might have been her parent’s idea. It also never occurred to me to ask why they might have diapers for older kids like me. Then again, maybe John had bought them at some point between that hotel and arriving in Ohio. However I cannot recall a single stop where he could have bought something like that. I just don’t know and never thought about where it had come from.
