“Sweet,” Jack mused. He had thought to bring a tidy sum of money—a good deal of it from his parents, who thought he should have his own means—and if all went well he intended to punch a decent hole in it. He hoped there was a good bookstore, and a good games store in this place; he’d never been there himself (thus his question to Chastity), but whenever he went to a mall, those two things were what he chiefly concerned himself with.
