Jack shrugged. “There’s bound to be a music store or some other interesting places to check out before we go, and we still have some time before we’re supposed to meet Jean and Mary.”
“That’s true,” Chastity agreed and stood up. Jack stood up with her and they walked along, Jack carrying most of the bags in his left hand while Chastity was in his right; it was good thinking because only a few moments later, Chastity’s left hand ambushed his right ever so casually, but rather than dragging him along at some hurried pace, Chastity strode along with him very casually. Jack allowed himself a smile and happy thoughts after she did, and pushed away the gloom surrounding his formula-affected system.
