Kelly giggled under her breath, “It’s ok sis. I’m sure it’s just a one time thing.” Jessica smiled and ran off to play. Once Jessica had left Kelly alone, Kelly went through her sister’s closet. “I know mom kept it here somewhere….ah!” She pulled out a plastic mattress cover. Tomorrow morning would be interesting. That night, Kelly stayed awake in her bed until 2am when everyone was sure to be asleep. Then she quietly affixed the mattress cover over her mattress. She didn’t want to ruin her good mattress. She decided that in the morning she would confess to her mom about her accident in the woods and say that she was nervous and put the cover on just in case.
