Her cloth diapers and plastic pants that her mother had ordered were coming any day now and she couldn’t wait. She wanted to be free of the fear of leaking. In the meantime, they had been out shopping. Kelly’s wardrobe was now much much more childish. Those that were too small were altered by her mother, who Kelly thought of as a master seamstress. To Kelly’s surprise, a package came one day that she thought were the cloth diapers but turned out to be something entirely different. Her mother smiled widely at the box and then turned and kissed Kelly affectionately on the head. “Oh, I have some surprises for my little one! You are going to look so adorable! Not that you aren’t adorable now!”
