She looked over at her clock.
It was just about to turn 8:00.
She yawned. “Jessica, how do you get up so early and have so much energy?” Jessica just smiled, “I’ve been up watching cartoons since 7.
Mommy said you used to be the same when you were little.
” Kelly realized that was true.
Where had her youthful energy and anticipation for a brand new day gone? She sighed.
“Alright little girl. Get dressed and I’ll take you guys.” Jessica smiled and kissed her sister before hopping off her bed and running down the hall to tell her friends who had slept over the night before.
She didn’t have much time to dress or eat since the girls were all hurrying her.
She threw on a sundress and combed her hair and managed to grab a banana before she was pushed out the door.
