I wondered if she had heard me or not, but just as I thought this, she released a joyful smile that eased my worries. She slowly released her grip on my hand and patted my head gently. As she began to take her hand off my head, I brought the small child in front of me into a warm embrace. I wish it could be explained the feelings that Lea brought me when she smiled due to my actions. She really could hear me, and she trusted me.
