As mommy got up and left I put my bio homework away so I could pull out my math homework. Oh math, how I hate you. I probably don’t need to say that I was an english kid in high school, not a math one. There was no room for, well, anything in math. In english it was never about doing things right it was about doing things well. You could have completely valid opinions on the subject that were the polar opposite of your teacher. English classes were freeing. Math was the opposite of all of that. Sure you might have different methods to solve a problem but at the end of the day you’re right or you’re wrong.
