“I thought you were a camp counselor.”
“I am,” she verified. “The pay sucks…. it’s practically volunteer work. And then I work at the store sometimes too. But the problem is almost everyone in this town between 16 and 25 works there, so hours are really tight.”

She shrugged. “I should probably stop bitching, right?”
Megan shook her head. “Bitch, moan, complain…I don’t care.”
“Well in that case, have you had the opportunity to meet some of our fine citizens?”
“Umm…when I was driving around, I saw this old guy mowing the lawn with his shirt off. And then this little kid waved to me. Does that count?”
