Meg’s Transformation Scene 80

Mr and Mrs Dzabra were, in Meg’s mind, nice people. They seemed overly polite at first, maybe even a little bit square. After getting to know them a bit better, however, it was obvious that they were humorous and imaginative. All of the good she used to see in Ted she was able to trace back to them. They knew of Ron’s visit and hence were expecting him. They were a little shocked to see Megan…and a lot shocked to see Deanna.
“She’s had a bit much to drink,” Megan explained. “Would it be all right if she cooled off here?”
They seemed a bit skeptical. “I guess that would be OK….I suppose,” Mr. Dzabra answered.
“Where’s Ted?” asked his mother.
“He went to take Anna home,” Ron informed them.
“Always the considerate one.”
