My figure was very sexy with curves in all the right places. I actually had a narrow waist and real hips, which really felt wonderful. Mother had bought a formal navy blue felt school hat with a blue hatband with one red stripe that I was to wear to town. The hat had an elastic chinstrap to keep it on in the wind. It was just as well as the wind had sprung up and was blowing strongly. The final touch was a beautiful navy blue school blazer with red and white braid around the edges of the coat and sleeves and across the top of the two side pockets. This was lined with satin and really looked and felt lovely. Mum brushed my hair into two bunches which she tied with blue ribbons and there I was, the complete schoolgirl decked out in all the girls clothes that schoolgirls should wear.
