Girly – that was sort of nice coming from my dad. It sort of made me feel good deep down inside. I couldn’t wait to tell him that I really was going to be a girl and his daughter soon.
I told mum and she was glad I had got over the problem. She said she had wanted me to keep my hair long so she could make it up nicely into different styles for me when we got the chance.
